Sustainable Textiles
One of the best examples of a "sustainable" life cycle in textiles is a fibre called Hemp. It grows easily in many soil types and in dry conditions, taking no neutrients from the soil and needing no fertilizers. The fibres are harvested and spun with no addatives. Worsted spinning produces a strong, clean and soft yarn. Its easy to blend with other fibre types. On disposal its fully biodegradeable. Pefect for the planet
